May 11 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us in Hamilton Town House Library on Saturday 11 May for our fourth Heritage and Local History Convention, BygoneCon.

A wide range of groups and organisations – including Lanarkshire Family History Society, North Lanarkshire Archives, Historic Environment Scotland, Family Search and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission – will share their interests and passions in the beautiful Carnegie library.

Find out how our heritage and local history are celebrated, preserved and commemorated.

Drop in any time between 10am and 4pm to visit the stalls, and enjoy talks and presentations that are sure to bring the past to life.

Special attractions at this event include an exhibition of rare and exclusive photographs of Hamilton Palace and a display exploring the history of maps, on loan from the National Library of Scotland.

Contact the library on 01698 452122 or email BygoneCon@library.s-lanark.org.uk for more information.
